One of my favorite things about being a big sister of a toddler

Ok, so if you've read my mom's blog, you know every now and then she'll post something funny that Landon has said, such as: lasterday=yesterday or the fact he needs three daddys, each that will drive different color trucks. Well, I've been in the backseat or in hearing distance of almost all of them. Trust me, they're funny! Well, the other night we were driving home from church, and he started talking about how much he loved our house. Then, he said, "Mommy, we have to go live in Grandma's house!" Mom said, "Why?" He replied, "Because our house fell down! And when our house fall down we have to go live at Grandma's house!" Mom continued to tell him that our house has NOT fallen down. He wouldn't listen. When we pull into the driveway he almost hollers, "Mommy see! Our house HASN'T fallen down! YAY YAY!"
Well, I've almost always HEARD them, but I've never had one where he talks to ME. Until about an hour ago. He walks up to and says, "Here." He then hands me his sippy cup.
I ask him what did he want me to do with it. He says, "Will please you I fix, I mean will please you I fix some apple juice?" I ask, " Will I please fix you some apple juice?" He jumps and says, "Yes! Yes!" I start laughing and walk into the kitchen to get some apple juice. Ahh, the joy of being a big sister of a toddler!

What Should You Do If. . .

Ever encountered one of those moments? You do something and then you go, "What should I do!?" I just had one of those moments a few minutes ago. I was trying to entertain my brother, (who by the way is sick with the flu.) by being funny. So I picked up a foam sword and started waving it around really, really, really weirdly. Next thing I knew I had poked myself in the eye. How I managed to poke myself, I'll most likely never know. By the way, it's very funny to watch two toddlers with foam swords whopping each other with them. It's gets funnier when one says, "This is boring, I'm done." and sets the sword down. The other one then shrugged and said, "OK." That one then proceeds to keep whopping the other one. Well, it's mommy to the rescue! She explains that if the other person doesn't have a sword, you can't keep on whopping them. Yep, some days it's just plain funny at our house.
