Farkle
Don't worry, you read right. That's not a misprint either. It's really supposed to say Farkle. Farkle is a fun dice game. It's kinda like Yahtzee, but it's different. You should try it. Me, my mom, and my brother played it. I won, but it was tough. You gotta take some chances sometimes. It was fun.

A passage to remember
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts, always protects, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

9/11
Today is the 10th anniversary of the terrorists attacks of 9/11. There were four planes hijacked that day. Two hit both of the Twin Towers, one hit the Pentagon, and the 4th we think was headed for the White House, but the passengers fought back and it crashed into a field. The families who lost loved ones on that horrific day, I just ask God to comfort them today and every day. I was only 1 year old at the time, so I didn't understand. Now that I'm older, I just want to go thank every policeman (and woman), firefighter, and solider for being willing to put their life on the line so I am safe and can worship freely. Today my pastor told us that there are going to be wars until Jesus comes back. He also said to hug your family. Tell them you love them. Make sure the people you care about and love know that you care about and love them.
Dear God,
Thank you for how wonderful you are. Thanks that your love never failed. Today I ask you be with the families who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. From the children who never met their fathers, the families who had loved ones working in the Twin Towers or the Pentagon, to the ones who had loved ones on those four planes.
Amen

The Virginia Creeper.
So this Saturday my family and I are going to Virginia with some friends. Why? To ride the Virginia Creeper! The Virginia Creeper is an old railroad track that someone made into a bike trail. We're going to ride the first seventeen miles of it because it's mostly down hill on those seventeen miles. ;0) It's going to be lots of fun!!!!

Bike Rides

I love riding my bike. I really love to ride bikes with my dad. It's lots of fun. Tonight he took me to the neighborhood across the street and we rode bikes there. Then we went to the creek down the rode. We had to pass a sewage pump. It was really stinky. But the view (and the creek) was worth having to pass it. I love my dad.

AWANA
So, have any of you ever heard of AWANA? Well, if you haven't here's what it is: Cubbies-preschoolers Sparks-Kindergarden-2 grade and TnT-3-6 grade. I'm in TnT. There are 4 books in all to be done. And everyone of those books has AT LEAST 32 passages of Scripture you have to memorize. Well, last year I did 2 books. Book 1 and Book 2. This year they let me skip book 3 and dive into book 4. But I wouldn't get my Timothy Award. (it is awarded to children who have completed all 4 TnT books.) Well, I finished Book 4 with time to spare. So, what did I do? I dived back into to Book 3! And on Sunday night I will finish Book 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cool fact: TnT stands for Truth and Training.

One of my favorite things about being a big sister of a toddler
Ok, so if you've read my mom's blog, you know every now and then she'll post something funny that Landon has said, such as: lasterday=yesterday or the fact he needs three daddys, each that will drive different color trucks. Well, I've been in the backseat or in hearing distance of almost all of them. Trust me, they're funny! Well, the other night we were driving home from church, and he started talking about how much he loved our house. Then, he said, "Mommy, we have to go live in Grandma's house!" Mom said, "Why?" He replied, "Because our house fell down! And when our house fall down we have to go live at Grandma's house!" Mom continued to tell him that our house has NOT fallen down. He wouldn't listen. When we pull into the driveway he almost hollers, "Mommy see! Our house HASN'T fallen down! YAY YAY!"
Well, I've almost always HEARD them, but I've never had one where he talks to ME. Until about an hour ago. He walks up to and says, "Here." He then hands me his sippy cup.
I ask him what did he want me to do with it. He says, "Will please you I fix, I mean will please you I fix some apple juice?" I ask, " Will I please fix you some apple juice?" He jumps and says, "Yes! Yes!" I start laughing and walk into the kitchen to get some apple juice. Ahh, the joy of being a big sister of a toddler!

What Should You Do If. . .
Ever encountered one of those moments? You do something and then you go, "What should I do!?" I just had one of those moments a few minutes ago. I was trying to entertain my brother, (who by the way is sick with the flu.) by being funny. So I picked up a foam sword and started waving it around really, really, really weirdly. Next thing I knew I had poked myself in the eye. How I managed to poke myself, I'll most likely never know. By the way, it's very funny to watch two toddlers with foam swords whopping each other with them. It's gets funnier when one says, "This is boring, I'm done." and sets the sword down. The other one then shrugged and said, "OK." That one then proceeds to keep whopping the other one. Well, it's mommy to the rescue! She explains that if the other person doesn't have a sword, you can't keep on whopping them. Yep, some days it's just plain funny at our house.

I Believe
Authorized King James Version
Matthew 2:10-11
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, worshiped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold and frankincense, and myrrh.
